The Junction House Buffet opened Monday, June 9, 2008. Located in the heart of downtown White River Junction, in the historic Hotel Coolidge Building, this new restaurant promises all-you-can-eat homestyle favorites with a unique twist. “The idea of a buffet is lots of choices and no waiting,” says proprietor Lynn Caple, “But we’re taking it to another level by featuring fun, local recipes and emphasizing freshness,” he adds. Unlike most buffet-style restaurants, the Junction House has an atmosphere more typical of a trendy, neighborhood eatery. The Junction House Buffet will serve lunch Monday through Friday and dinner Friay and Saturday with a brunch buffet on Sundays. The Caple family, including Lynn, wife Karen, and son Daniel, are long-time proprietors of a successful catering operation, Coventry Catering, also based in White River Junction.
